The curatorial project connects the artistic program of a pair of visual artists from Hungary and Slovakia. In the specific space of the former Jewish synagogue, it asks itself the urgent question of whether and to what extent there is sustainability without empathy. Through the exhibition situation, in which two distinctive artistic positions from different countries and contexts communicate and cooperate with each other, it calls for empathy as a condition for any sustainability, durability and development.
The exhibition thinks more in universal or philosophical categories and wants to be apolitical in this sense. Accentuates common or related qualities of individual visual programs, such as in this case mainly the basis in interactivity, a playful approach and at the same time a strong conceptual accent. Relationships in the exhibition space communicate, respond to each other, complement each other and expand. They create a situation of cooperation and empathy.
